UNDERGROUND CANYON
COME EXPERIENCE AN AQUATIC AND FUN UNDERGROUND EXPLORATION, A MUST IN THE VALLEY
Explore the Vicdessos underground river.
During this outing we will make a crossing, we will enter through a cave in the mountain and exit through another.
At the start of the exploration we will abseil down 3 small wells (the highest is 12 m). Then we will join a first small river, then progress in a pretty little meander all in an Egyptian curve. At the exit we will join the main river. Our route will become more and more aquatic and will end with a series of small waterfalls that we will descend by slide.
This outing does not require any particular physical or technical skills. On the other hand, you often have to bend down so you don’t have to have knee and/or back problems.
There is a narrow passage in the cave, which is difficult for people weighing more than 95 kg to pass.

I take out insurance with the national union of caving and canyon professionals. However, you must have personal insurance when you practice sporting activities.

EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE
Pants in which you are comfortable (joggings, or hiking pants), a fleece or a sweater. Bring a full change of clothes for the outing (even your underwear) as you will get wet.
