YOUR FIRST STEPS WITH BOOTS.
A great discovery of the underground world. For this outing we will progress on foot in a beautiful cavity. It’s like hiking in the mountains, except you’re “in” the mountain.
This easy adventure allows you to immerse yourself in the mysteries of the cave world by experiencing your first exploration. You will be able to understand the mystery of the formation of underground networks. And you marvel at the wonderful work of digging the water.
We will observe and understand the formation of numerous concretions: stalactites, stalagmites, draperies… Have you ever seen eccentrics?
The discovery caving outing is accessible to everyone, you just need to be 8 years old and know how to walk and put on boots! This outing is also suitable for seniors (provided you do not have back or knee problems).
The discovery caving outing is an easy introduction to caving in Ariège.

EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE
Good socks (hiking or thick), pants in which you are comfortable (joggings, or hiking pants), a fleece or sweater. Bring a change of pants for the outing as you may be a little wet.
