SPORTS CAVELING
AN UNDERGROUND ODYSSEY, THE REAL ADVENTURE A GREAT RACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE.
On our planet, the underground environment is the last place that has not yet been completely explored.
An outing for those who want to experience complete immersion in the underground and mineral world.
During this outing you will be introduced to rope movement techniques. These lessons will allow you to experience a great moment. You will see that the more we venture underground, the larger the volumes become, and the more surprising the discoveries.
During this outing you may go as far as a siphon (part where the cave becomes submerged), you may go down more than 200 m underground. Or you will explore a large underground network.
The largest French underground network is the Félix Trombe network with 54 different entrances and 117 km of galleries… If you want to venture out, it’s right next door in Haute-Garonne. Come experience a unique adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life.

INSURANCE
I take out insurance with the national union of caving and canyon professionals. However, you must have personal insurance when you practice sporting activities.
AGES
From 14 years old

For this outing you don’t need to be a high-level athlete, nor do you need to have already done caving. You just need to be in good physical condition and do sports regularly. This outing is not elitist.
I remember one summer when I went down to the siphon of the Puits des Bans – 210 m underground. With Jean-Marie who was delighted to experience this adventure at 62 years old. And who told me at registration that he was an occasional walker but that he was in good shape!
EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE
Good socks (hiking or thick), pants in which you are comfortable (jogging, or hiking pants), a fleece or a sweater or 2 for those who are cold. Bring a change of clothes for the exit; you may be a little wet.
You should bring a snack. Be careful this one will be shaken, so avoid bananas and anything that can crush.
